What Should Be Known About Traffic Packages

Doing business online is all about getting traffic to your site. Traffic get you the sales, and traffic is what brings in revenue. People advertise their website to bring in traffic, and advertising costs money.

There are two types of traffic that you can spend your money on; there is traffic that actually brings you the right visitors, and there is traffic that does not. Both of them costs money, but to bring in the right traffic costs a lot more, such as search engine advertising.

When people are eager to bring traffic to their site but can't afford to bring so much using the traditional online advertising method, they go for 'Traffic Packages'. You can just type in "traffic packages" or "bring traffic to your site" in any search engine, and there will be loads of sites that offer cheap traffic. You will also notice that some packages are a lot more expensive than other ones, but don't be alarmed...the results are all alike. Either you pay 100 bucks for 25,000 "Premium Visitors" package or 100,000 "Guaranteed Targeted Visitors" package for $149, the results are the same, and I'm saying that from my personal experience.

While I was running my Amazon.com affiliated website, after spending $500 in search engine marketing, I didn't have much capital left to keep

pouring that much to bring less than 1000 targeted visitors to my site. I did some research and found these packages guaranteeing targeted visitors, and when I compared 25,000 or even 100,000 to 1000 and at a fraction of the cost, I was tempted. I tried 3 different companies, BlowOutAdvertising.com, EasySiteHits.com, and I-Web-Marketing.com--I don't really think they are companies but rather just sites ran by no more than 3 people. Of course I got nothing in return. My site received hits for sure, but there was no way of telling whether I was receiving my guaranteed unique visitors because I wasn't making any sales.

Not even 1 out of 25,000 or 100,000 unique visitors purchased anything from my site, which was disappointing, and at the same time, amazing. At least I made a couple of sales out of the 1000 targeted visitors I received from Yahoo! Search Marketing. Then I realized that the targeted traffic packages were just a scam--I may be wrong though, but from my personal experience, these traffic packages seemed like they were bunch of automated hits generated by programs built by these people running the site. Maybe they bought the hit generating programs from upper-level scam artists. Who knows?

What I know is that if you are only interested in bring your site rank up on

Alexa.com, spend a hundred or two on these packages to do so, because for that purpose, it works. If you want to make sales and profit from your site, don't purchase any of these packages. Spend your money wisely. As you probably know already, all the lessons that I've learned cost me a lot of money. I hope you save yours.

By the way, if you are really thinking of purchasing those traffic packages, don't bother spending that much either. Look for "Hits" packages. They are not specified as "Unique Visitors" packages, they are way cheaper, and possibly give you the same results. Check out Immensehits.com or MegaPromoter.com. I have not purchased any packages from these two sites (and I never will); I just found them interesting while I was researching for ways to bring traffic to my site. I don't know why I used the above three websites to bring traffic to my site, but you will never know until you actually try it out for yourself. Now I know...
